Saint Shiromani Ravidasji was born in the village of Mandur, near Kashi Banaras, on the occasion of Mahasud Purnima of 1433 AD. Hence Ravidas Ji ‘s father started searching for a better bride in the society .And through his efforts, he was married to a girl named Lona, on the threshold of teenage years.
Ravidass jee Sansar lived in life and believed in devotion only after facing numerous sorrows. He was a great man who could not maintain the ecstatic ecstasy and keep the senses in control.
